Welcome to Son’Spot!

We are so happy you are here! What began in the summer of ’81 as a vision from God has become what is now known as Son’Spot, located in Ocean City, Maryland. We are a welcoming place open beyond Sundays, where people gather regularly for fellowship, worship, and encouragement in Jesus. Today, Son’Spot continues to grow as a missionary outreach focused on salvation, spiritual growth, and Holy Spirit-led ministry.

We hope you’ll stick around to worship with us, grow with us, and experience the love and victory found in Jesus Christ.

A Little About Us

The Son’Spot is a missionary outreach of the Body of Christ that emphasizes salvation and victory in Jesus. From June to September, we gather every day (except Wednesday) at 10 am for sharing the Word and prayer, then complete work projects, and at 5 pm go on the boardwalk for outreach ministry. We gather again at 8 pm for praise, worship, Word, prayer, fellowship, and ministry. Additionally, the food ministry includes dinner on Thursdays at 5:30 pm, and breakfast on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 am. We also deliver food bags and minister to people in their homes each week.

During the winter, we meet on Thursday and Saturday evenings at 7 pm for Bible, prayer, and fellowship. On Sunday Mornings at 10 am, we gather for worship, ministry, and fellowship. We also have an outreach meal on Thursdays at 5 pm, and we deliver food bags each week to many families. And we host a Bible study each week at the county jail. Our purpose in all activities is to lift up the name of Jesus. People are born again, encouraged, and set free. Praise the Lord!

Jesus at the Beach is an annual festival that brings people together for praise, worship, music, dance, drama, testimony, preaching, prayer, one-on-one sharing, and Holy Spirit ministry.
